The most consistent team since the inception of the tournament, Chennai Super Kings has garnered massive love and support in every city across India. Irrespective of the city they are playing in, the stadium turns into a sea of yellow.
CSK’s performance over the years has given the fans more strength to their voice and they have been very vocal about the love for their team. The team also leaves no stone unturned to connect with their fans and make them feel more inclusive. This year, taking the fan engagement a notch higher, CSK has partnered with iB Cricket to give their fans an experience that they’ll cherish for a very long time. CSK along with iB Cricket organised CSK - iB Cricket Fan Tour across the city of Chennai where the fans got to play with their favourite Super Kings in virtual stadiums of iB Cricket.

CSK - iB Cricket Fan Tour was conducted in M. Chinnaswamy Stadium and at Standard Chartered, NITK, Infosys, ScoopWhoop, Oyo Rooms, Ericsson, AGS Cinemas, The Executive Zone, among other places.
The fans were left amazed when they got to face bowlers Harbhajan Singh and Shane Watson in an unbelievably real-match like scenario. They smashed shots in the world-class stadiums of iB Cricket and celebrated every moment playing alongside their favourite stars. The great visual appeal, high-quality graphics and complete cricketing experience made them feel like they’ve taken to the field in reality. The whole atmosphere was electrifying with the crowd chanting their names with every shot they played.
It was exhilarating for the fans to turn around and see a virtual avatar of MS Dhoni keeping wickets behind the stumps. It got intimidating at times seeing their idols of the game coming hard at them with the ball but the fans held their nerves and played some glorious shots. They basked in the glory of being a batsman playing in an action-packed game of cricket and had memorable experiences.
CSK and their fans have a special bond and this was the team’s way of celebrating it and letting the fans know how much they mean to the team. The excitement and the thrill were quite evident on the faces of the fans as they went on thanking CSK and iB Cricket for letting them be a part of such an event. The spectators had stepped into the players’ shoes and it was that time where everyone else went “WhistlePodu” for them. The ‘’Yellove” spirit was there throughout with the fans and they were looking forward to more such events happening in the future.
